humm, the whole new names.. really terribly confusing,
especially if it's not every day can be there more as 8h to becomes updates ..
the whole become ever an own "technical" world and the normal user don't
become with what's comes up at new programms and so, what i see ever also
on the german pro-linux.de . MariaDB sounds like as something completely different ...
btw. i did installing it now, thank you very much for you explains :)

Should be same api + we keep systemd mysql.service for backward compatibility. All works fine here just try to install mysql-common or mysql-server or what you need.

Anyway mysql it's not other product, it's just a modern (and libre) version of mysql.
