Hi,
I just tried to install KDE5 on my notebook, and found it doesn't work
at all (the splash screen covers everything and never goes away) --
after finding it works quite well on my desktop.
I'm not sure what's causing this yet (Intel GPU in the notebook vs. AMD
GPU in the desktop? Race condition that happens only with slower CPUs?
Important file accidentally in a -devel package that I didn't install on
the notebook? Some other "soft" dependency (like timeouts with infinite
retries because some dbus service can't be reached)? ...?) - so it would
be good to know how it works for others.
