that reminds me, can you make maybe an
task-gnome-Minimal and task-gnome rpm ?
it helps to create dependencies and make an well run gome and gnome minimal,
to have all what's make a well gnome-desktop :)
with this can use the user task-gnome and can use in the
Desktop-selecting it also .
