Hnn, open a feature request about it, some other devs might
think also, that this is useful ?

Calamares already have a basic feature to remove rpms, but it is
    just static feature.

I have feeling this may be quite hard to achieve, as calamares is
    cross distribution installer.

If other distros does not support uninstalling not used languages
and hardware support then this will become more OMV specific
solution. In case of OMV removing such rpms is not a feature of
    urpmi, but drakxtools.

My 2 cents: I prefer to install all drivers (and language
packs), since you are able to change the hardware, as you want.

    +1
hold the Distribution slim ! For the head-installation.
this is the reason why it is need an rpm-related installation.
if anyone want other things, should he install it.. and it is able .

Feel free to start contribute to calamares and build iso tools, so you may achieve your goals.
humm.. i have at moment other projects on running *g* .. no in serious *s*
i have easy not the head for it.. to learn python, perl or other ..

As you may not noticed, after installation you may uninstall all not needed software to get 200 MiB working distro with urpmi.
i do that anyway via urpme --auto --auto-orphans

Sorry, an 4 Gigabyte space needed installation, it is this not
    directly slim..
on past times i have need only 6-700 mb for an Promt-installation
    with urpmi !!!

I doubt that unexperienced/newbies users care about above.
humm.. but has helpt me where i as the possible in drakinstall for use
only basesystem, was an nice thing and i was in able to install via urpmi the
other things what i has whant, this has hept me to lern manny also the
"man XXXX" thing or "whatis blbla" also.. for learning by doing and
reading in the prompt, you know.. the whole worst case scenario
with "we are on X" and "you can all do in X" it's maby really helpful,
but like in WinNT or more worst Microsift Windows8/10 helps no
more to learn something about the System and the ... something..

For such users KISS rule is the best one, as when you step on first bug or any trouble you get more frustraded and finally you abandon this.
and therefore was existent an well Gnu-Linux forum or other "Geek-like forums where have really something learn about.. on the Start times.. and some peoples was in able to learn something about the system and kernel generating.. (yep, i can do it also.. creating my own kernel.. if it's must be.. but who from the young peoples can it ? was in able to learn it..? ) and to use the whole bash-tools .. and have learn to repair or was in able to fix by self the system so far.. and there have nobody say, the is an KISS-Rules and the user mus have it easy as possible ..
(btw, what it is KISS directly ? easy as possible or something ?)

For an well running System be the Developers there, like you , bero or other where build up the whole Distro {yep, I'm be very well aware of what You're doing ! and i be happy about it to have someone like you :) } and the Quality Assurance , like Colin and Ben and the others and also the other Developers and rpm-builders and so on.. many have changed.. to better and to more ... negative .. :\ but the whole thing keeps still useable in the dare .. not without reason, i have loved the Mandrake and the past...past Mandriva, there was able many to learn.. for the users .. because, the binary's have easy still woks well.. (like now also..*afterwards pushed* *g* ) but was in able to learn also something in the prompt, because it was easy, still possible to install an prompt only system also.. and.. it has work.. .. also without an X ..you know :) ....* thought....points.......*....................

best regards
Blacky
