QA has been asked, quite legitimately so, to be more involved with the
Forum. I've repeatedly requested that Forum functionality should include
e-mail notification of replies to posts to which one has subscribed.
Subscribed=Thread I have posted to. I have not once ever gotten such an
e-mail. As member of QA I try to be involved with forum but lose track
of where I have interacted due to lack of e-mail notification. This is
unusual as all other Forums I've been involved with do this though may
require user selection. Our forum is to simplistic to allow for people
to remember where they have had discussions. As a QA Team member I will
try to be more involved in forum but without this function my efforts
will fail due to human foibles. We simply must have this function going
forward.
This is not a small issue. It is major to the growth of this distro.
This simply needs to be done.
