I've used 'urpmi -v --auto-update -test' for a long time. It works
similar to '--download-all' in that it is supposed to download all
packages and then inform if 'installation possible' or if there is
an issue. Last few days it is doing this:
# urpmi -v --auto-update -test
Unknown option: t
Unknown option: e
option --src is deprecated, use --buildrequires instead (nb: it
doesn't download src.rpm anymore)
Unknown option: t
getting lock on urpmi
and then downloading and installing packages. It should not ever
install packages. In other words it's broken, busted, kaput!
