here it still happens.

but only the first time i install dbus with:

# urpmi --replacepkgs dbus

next

# urpmi --replacepkgs dbus

 it works.

if i reboot it still happens and so on...

So try with new dbus.

Unfortunately it still froze and I had to ctrl-alt-f2 and ctrl-alt-f1
to make it responsive again.

The journal shows nothing; I'll try to think of other things that
might cause this...
