Hello everyone,
I sincerely hope that the employees find a new job soon. I have been
made redundant once and it was quite a shock for me. Paris is quite an
expensive place to live and I would like to put the idea of a solidarity
statement for the ex-employees forward. The reason why I am saying this
is that once you lose your job you also get a certain stigma and a lot
of people you thought they were "friends" turn away from you.
I think that the products (Pulse 2, Mandriva Business Server etc.) were
not that bad. I thought of writing an offer to bring the translations
(website, MBS, Pulse 2) up to speed again. Seems I don't need to do that
anymore.
I know that they didn't fulfill their promise of sponsoring us but this
issue also seems to be resolved. I would like to request Council to
think about new sponsorship strategies.
