I have tried with latest libdrm and mesa pkgs.
no changes.

meanwhile I connected via ssh to the vm and found some errors in X.org log

I've rebuilded libdrm and mesa packages, can you please try to update your cooker in multi-user.target and give a try if graphical.target works ?

2015-07-07 9:51 GMT+02:00 Tomasz Gajc <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>>:

Yesterday i did tests on real hardware with ISO 12011
    <https://abf.io/platforms/cooker/products/136/product_build_lists/12011>,
and it does hangs when graphical target starts.
I've tried one more option, and started iso with
    systemd.unit=multi-user.target, then installed weston (wayland
reference compositor) and started it. Graphics subsystem started i
saw the wallpaper and weston-launcher toolbar but this it frozen
    immediately.

For me this is mesa/drm or kernel related issue.

    <mailto:[email protected]>>:

Also anyone with LXQt desktop if they update system won't
reboot. If I install from build 10850 mesa is not installed
nor is called up when I attempt to update. Indicating that it
may be something else. It does appear as in bugs 1274 and 1279
(I think those are correct #'s) to be a graphic or X server
issue. Also narrowing done the time it went asunder would
help.... I seem to recall a working Cooker well in to June
which is different from what rugyada reports. Some time around
June 29 seems about right for me but I have no way to pin it
down. Mind, I'm talking about a working Cooker on hardware not
        how .iso's do/don't work.

As far as .iso's we seem mostly to still be using # 10850
which is from May 2. So when we go to update it's now been
over 2 months so a heck of a lot can change in that period of
time. Is there a minimal .iso with an installer?

I tried build 12011 in vbox:

        black screen and no vconsole

For me this is an issue with graphics subsystem, not related to
Plasma/Qt5.
Running xdm as a display manager gives same effect like in case of sddm.
My guess it is mesa3d related.
