I read all the stuff on this Robert. It will be dodgy when people upgrade to 
cooker/2015 from 2014.2 as all their users will not work if I have understood 
the problem correctly. I guess we will have to script a solution to deal with 
this but I'm not sure how we do it. Wouldn't the user have to re-enter their 
passwords at some point if they wanted upgrade rather than re-install.
