Hi Rafa,
Dude, you don't need it for make me happy,
make it for OpenMandriva and the community
and not only for me ..
The well running OwnCloud on the OMLx
it is for the whole community to have an possibility
to have an private-file-Storer in the own basement
and not must use an "DropFile"-service or an lie-Cloud Service.
IF you stay behind OMLx and not only behind you, can you past
an entry for the community and not poly up your "i be nice" - character
in the puplic,
i hope the next president is rugy or again Itchka or maybe TPG
and maybe it is better to create an new Association in England or maybe
an other Land..
i clean now up my mess in my Livingroom
because i can't it do under the week because i be in the reteaching and
learn
something for cleaning up my mess in my live..then i can look for
some place for OMLx and areas of application for OMLx in my job of
security staff
if i can maybe build up the EDV in an Security Company and can maybe
our Linux establish on it.. if we have luck .. and therewith have we maybe
an supporter on long view ..
what do you, ask if you can maybe make me happy for insert an bug or an
other thing
in our bug tracker for make me happy ?
Well, then i say, please to it, but please for the community and not for
me ..
because you and an other one have hold me out, and have make an big
mistake for the community..
and i hope and pray do you be never an President for this OpenMandriva
Association,
before should be the OpenMandriva go down..
this is not an insult or attack, this is only an opinion with an part of
truth !
best regards
Blacky

No as it's using node.js for one (etherpad) and go for another one
(mirrorbits) but if you want I'll open a request in bugzilla for it :)

You misunderstood my reply, I just told that being able to
choose the db index is a good point for owncloud. I know
redis, we even use it in our infra.

Good, you can choose the db_index, sometimes it's
forgotten by devs…

Transactional File Locking
ownCloud’s new transactional file locking
mechanism operates differently than the old File
Locking application, and will eventually replace
it. If you elect to use the new file locking
mechanism make sure you disable the File Locking app.
The new file locking mechanism has these capabilities:
• Operates at a higher level than the filesystem,
so you don’t need to use a filesystem that
supports locking
• Locks parent directories so they cannot be
renamed during any activity on files inside the
directories
• Releases locks after file transactions are
interrupted, for example when a sync client loses
the connection during an upload
• Manage locking and releasing locks correctly on
shared files during changes from multiple users
• Manages locks correctly on external storage mounts
• Manages encrypted files correctly
You must install the Redis server and php-redis
module for the new file locking to work. On
Debian/Ubuntu/Mint this is redis-server and
php5-redis, and on Red Hat/CentOS/Fedora is it
redis and php-pecl-redis from the EPEL repository.
After installing Redis you must enter a simple
configuration in your config.php file, like ~~~~+
a.s.o.
maybe needs php-redis ans some files ;)
