Just a curiosity that the name "Unity" is pretty common in the IT world
(and even in the Linux world). It comes to my mind that there are
projects with similar name which are not related each other:
- The "Unity" 3D game engine
- The "Unity Mode" inside the VMware VM
- The Ubuntu "Unity" user interface
and now "Unity Linux".

I think the unity directory is symlinked to you guys (the openmandriva
folder) for a while according to Donald at iBiblio. I'm not a huge project I
just need a mirror or two to get my test ISOs and RPMs off my home server
because it kills my bandwidth. So I'm just happy with the unity-linux dir and
what Donald has given me. You guys were my main concern after I realized how
entangled unity had become and what the actions of taking the unity dir would
do. I'm thinking things should be fine, you guy may have to let a few of your
mirrors know to point to distro.ibiblio.org::openmandriva though. Not sure how
all that works Donald at iBiblio would be the one to ask. Thanks

I went ahead and marked the ticket as resolved. Don at ibiblio was awesome
and just made me a unity-linux folder. iBiblio now knowing though that the
unity folder is openmandriva should make it easy for you guys to change if you
want to some time in the future, it might be less confusing for people to find

Congrats on a decent looking release a few months back. It
brought back some good memories of the early Mandrake days for me. Looks like

our history we have nothing to do with OpenMandriva.. but in Looking at out
mirrors it seems we are mirroring your stuff. Not that I mind so much, but I
just don't have access to mirror our stuff. That's where I have issue. I know
Matt gave you guys access to them, he's a great guy.. they only issue is Unity
Linux is not dead and we need them. It seems Don over at iBiblio has caught on
to this as well and wants to offer you guys your own folder on iBiblio (he's
good people, much like you). He was even awesome enough to open a ticket on
your ticket system:

If you guys could help me out and get the ball rolling so I could get our
