You can try:

# urpmi -v --auto-update

or for lots more:

# urpmi --debug --auto-update

Don't know if this helps or not...

Hi,

by urpmi --auto-update

be the Sources never displayed !
why be the source's never sidpayed, because this it's something where displayed the
User what's going on.. want you start now like M$ ?
Hold all (what you think) who be not interesting in hide ?

i have make :
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
[root@blackysgate15 ~]# urpmi --auto --auto-select
The packages are up to date
[root@blackysgate15 ~]#
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
??????

and.. nothing more ? no listing of the sourcepath's ?
well.. this is wrong and bad..i want see what's going on !
on all single damn Step ! I want use Linux as real linux,
also in the prompt.. and there want i am a feedback !
Think, yo have setting up an server without an X
and there are working only in prompt.. and no X !
There mus be an feedback to know what's goes on .
And mus be able to configuring also
in the Prompt with Ascii configuring tools !
Don't forget it ! (if you reprogramming the draktools)

(Robert, you have say, you want make the reprogramming
the draktools maybe... in the programminglanguage where use Suse also ?..
and it's compatible in Gui and Prompt output? (damn, i have forgot the name of the lang.)

KDE, it is only a Workstationsurface !! More not !
and make you sloppy ..this is also the reason, why i ever say,
Gnome mus works also and some other Surfaces too,
to have an diversity and diversion !
Also for jumping fast in the prompt and work there !
Like in a real server only system.

So please, make the urpmi output how it was.. it's was fine where have see the single steps what's have to..
and maybe add on it, to see for count up to check the actualisation in
% 1........99..100% Check the Actual of Packets
behind the local rpm listing check. would be nice to see how it works..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
[root@blackysgate20 ~]# urpmi --auto --auto-select

All up to date, Have a nice Day, Admin :) (or maybe "Jedi")
[root@blackysgate20~]#
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
principle:
prefer more information than too less in Prompt !!

2nd principle:
The right Informations and not the wrong..
(as example the rpmdrake start.. the whole kernel releases message (wrong Informations) the kernels it is see by the packet browsing and can posting in the Blog. )

Posting the whole informations in the Prompt ,
also for make the Day for Admin's a piece more nice in the work ;)
and at last more "acceptance" in the community, btw by the peoples, because, the human behind it is speaking on wheres working with our Distriebution.. and therewith say also, it is make for the peoples behind it and not only a "Orderings System garbage" like all other Linuxes .. MDK was an bit playful in this direction and was fully confirmed,
what have make also the success (the magic and the personality) .
The Peoples behind, been confirmed therewith, also the "prompt-player" and providers..

Do you know the Pinguin in the Prompt by MDK ?
the Text in the Prompt-Login on the OMDV3 beta it's an really well Step !
Would be nice, if i see there an Ascii Pinguin, like in MDK where greet on the Login :) This is also something on prompt and SSH an lil' Pinguin greeter where's greeting the Admin ;)

i hope, the non- confirmation on Urpmi --auto --auto-update was only a bug..

best regards
Blacky
