HI all and a happy new year to ya all....... a hint for all Developer... rescently there had been alot sources with weird dependencies, how to manage this to get a source app working when the dependencies are crap and often wrong? i managed like this, building a gentoo with profile set 0, this means you need to check EACH dependencie yourself..... build the app with the right and working dependencies.. export it as rpm aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...... OpenMandriva should have the most powerfull apps in the Repo.... Maybe this idea and way of doing it will help yao, safe alot of time and trouble and make OM a wonderfull Distribution. In the past i needed to work like that becaus this little bastard, in my case, the last time i needed, a enterprise IMAP Server wouldnt work like i wanted.... but... this bastard became tamed by me ;)
