Hello all,
I tried ISO 374 on an 8 year old PC with a 64 bit CPU and an NVIDIA 7300
GT graphics card.
a) I couldn't boot in live mode and regular graphics. It asked for
location etc then just hung.
b) I was able to boot in VGA graphics mode and then install version 3.0.
That worked.
c) Starting up after the install results in a krunner crash.
Problems:
1. nouveau doesn't like my graphics card.
2. Trying to install the nvidia304 driver gets:
/etc/ld.so.conf/GL.conf from x11-driver-video-nvidia304 conflicts with
file from x11-server-common
Can somebody please update the nvidia304 driver. I will see if I have
crash dumps and if so submit a bug report against noveau.
I got much further with 374 then I did with previous ISO's.
