you want server iso or what?
If you want you can just download minimal rootfs.tar.xz and extract it
on the disk.
naa, not i am, but if we have a rpm-installer it is no metter what it is
install, because
it is only over the rpm's what it is install, so, therefore was the
task-files in the past
to have a possible for selecting and at last a rpm-selector, exactly this,
what it is now included in Calamares, what my opinion it is, we should
use the installer of Calamares,
an rpminstaller .. what does exactly this what had make the Drakinstall
in the past..
there can you select what you whant install, minimal with
prompt(core,bashtools and so on),
urpmi and so on without any windowmanager and draktools bash only.. or a
groundsystem with a minimal
windowmaker or LxQT or anything else.. and at last packages what the
user select additionally ,
directly from the rpm-mirror with the latest rpm's what exist..
so it is then subsequently to the user/admin, what he then elects to the
install
so he can then install an individual system, for his needs.
and then it is only install and download from the mirrors what really
need at last
and not a huge iso as workstation with programs what we not need on an
server.

no, a customized/tailor-made rpm installation like the

And this had make also fun, from the installation, the customation
and setting up, up to using
the distribution, this had make really fun..
2disk's downloading, putting this on 2 2/5 " disk's and boot the
computer over floppy,
then install the whole over net and Customizing it what should be
installed.. woooww.. this had make fun !
or with boot.iso ..
40/60 mb downloadung
boot the computer with a CDrom, started it and downloading the 2nd
stage..
and Custom the to installed System.. like it is need.. Server,
Workstation,
different Surfaces, Gnome, Wmaker, KDE or just only prompt..
and later per urpmi building the system, like it want..
yes, this was a work.. but it have made pretty damn fun ..
because, you had to know what you do..
and not like now.. download a 2 Gigabyte iso, and no possible for
change
at the installation. :(
oh mann.. exactly because the modern times, run the peoples away,
becomes ever modern and more modern.. and at last want it nobody
anymore, because..
nobody like it.. and it is the heart in it away, where pulse and
lives..
and makes exactly this community what we need around the, us
distribution..
and once it is just the installer and something like listings (and
not klicking through by mouse)

so, like i become with it is was in the past ever some
conditions / affairs , where
was ever only reported by the users, wrong signation, and
dependencies where was only
reported through users, like the last bugreport from me,
this could be resolve the situration, if we have a program
who check different things and mail/log something directly
the log under the Repoclousure,
for show anyone can be a ...(oh damn, it is snowing outside..
uff)
..check and control for the whole community.
it can be easy also be a download/open with Browser textfile
where listet the
wrong dependencies files with time and date for
testing in the community again (include the
Programmers/packers),
behind the update .. And also for knowing, this file it is listed
and want be repeard.. so as a nit.. looking on the fingers
and when it is comming.. it make a bit a part for working
together (support the community feeling)
and can ask, if this repeated already.. and so on..
