Try changing $arch with i386 (32-bit) or x86_64 (64-bit) in your daily.repo
file and retry.
1. thats right, you have to use the daily/testing repository.
2. they should work out of the box. There was a symlink missing for sles11sp2.
If it
does not work, try removing the repository with "zypper removerepo..." and add
it again.
