I don't know if the release schedule has changed, but according to the
wiki, 14.04 is supposed to go gold this Thursday, April 17th with the
final freeze happening this past weekend.

If that's still the case, the "moving target" shouldn't be an issue
anymore from a feature stand point.

We also are EXTREMLY interested in seeing these. We have built
machines for slaves at 2 sites with the latest 14.04 beta for
this, and would really like to get them in service!
I will say that each day whe we do apt-get dist- upgrade we do
get a bunch of updates, so it may be a bit of a moving target.
