Hi, I'm trying to determine whether OMD's Nagios, Icinga and Thruk can be used with the the Multisite cookie authentication feature? I've already got check_mk, nagvis and pnp4nagios working with it, as well as mod_proxy (graphs on remote servers) and LDAP. However Nagios, icinga etc still use apache's basic authentication and htpassword file?
I'm pretty sure that the cookie_auth cannot be used with Nagios as of yet, but I cannot find any info or confirmation of this on-line other than the following unanswered post: http://lists.mathias-kettner.de/pipermail/checkmk-en/2014-January/011235.html If anyone is able to confirm this one way or another for me it would be much appreciated! Lastly, has anyone heard any rumours when 1.20 might get released? I was hoping to implement the monitoring solution at my place of work using the latest Ubuntu server LTS 14.04. Cheers! John P.S.
