Su to the service user and do a test email outside of the application
echo “test” | mail –s “test subject” you@yourdomain

If it still shows OMD site monitoring, you’ll probably see that in the 
/etc/passwd entry for the local account.

If that’s not it, it depends on what version you are running.  Older ones had a 
bunch of settings in command.cfg or notification_commands that could be used to 
change mail format.

I've currently set up OMD and Check_MK and successfully changed the @ email 
address that the mail comes from. However, the email still comes from "OMD site 
monitoring". Is it possible to change the name of this address to something 
different?
