thanks for your reply! I indeed disabled the notification for the services.
I was hoping there was a way to alter it in a way that its not affecting the
'overall' state of the host.
Maybe I will just removethe whole service for being monitored.

Check_MK and logwatch are not there to function as log sink without alarming.
If you want to collect logs to analyze when needed you should do that with
systems especially build to do so, e.g. Splunk or ELK stack.
When you don't need the service you can disable whole logwatch check or
explicit services by rule - search for "disable" and you'll find them.
Alternatively disable logwatch at agent side.
