this inquiring mind (and i use the term "mind" loosely) is not only satisfied
but deeply grateful! as some of u know, i had the great good fortune to
discover speedorex (S), triathletepix (T) and omnisports (O) while cruising the
internet to keep my sanity while recovering from a broken back i suffered
during a rugby match. i've been extraordinarily lucky to recover fully but my
sporting endeavors have subsequently been significantly curtailed. i've always
been an active bloke and activities like rugby, water polo and snow skiing have
to a certain extent defined who i was as a person. it's been a difficult
adjustment being relegated to the sidelines. S,T & O have made the adjustment
easier. they have put a smile on my face, lust in my heart and a twitch in my
speedo. and i usually learn something, too! and if that wasn't more than enuf,
it's been wonderful to meet and interact with some really great guys - the very
kind SwimDave, the dedicated and peckish Rexswimguy (whose calm and steady
exterior masks a mischievous sensibility) and our beloved leader and Grand
Poobah...the King, E. Rex whose wit and knowledge never fail to amuse and
delight. man oh man, do i ever have a bad case of the "hots" for him!
thanks guys! best wishes for many more years of unadulterated conviviality!
cheers!
