Hey Guys, I didn’t really mean for the conversations between swimdave2 and me to go out to all the members of omnisports but I’m actually glad they did. I want to thank Dave for contributing his great photographs to our group. I know we all enjoy them. As I said in my last email to Dave, I only do this because I enjoy sharing these photographs with all of you.
I started to clean up my photo files and rather than just pitch them, I thought I would send them all out to members of the group...one last chance to look at and/or copy them. I only do this because I enjoy it and I hope you do too. Please respect Dave’s wishes. Don’t use photos for profit. That’s just a personal request. Thanks Dave and thank you guys. Cheers! I have only had one problem in all these years, and that's with some douche who searches the net for speedo pix, them puts them on his website and charges for membership. I've found dozens of my shots on his website, asked him to remove them, and gotten no response. He kind of has me though, since I post anonymously and don't copyright my work. Just bugs that he's profiting from the efforts of all the photographers who took the shots he offers. Okay, kicking the soapbox away and just want you to know that I'm flattered that you used my pix. I’m TERRIBLY SORRY!!! damn! never organized my pix since I only use them for omnisports. but since I got back from wales, I just have too many so I decided to archive some, delete others and send out the rest to the guys on omnisports. would you prefer I not do that? I’m not sure I’d have any idea which pix are yours. but what I could do, if you’d prefer, is send pix to you b4 I broadcast them to omnisports. that way, if you don’t want any of them to be sent out you could delete them or just tell me. that’s a lot of work for you. do you have a better suggestion? I guess I could just delete all the pix and not send them out. that would save us both a lotta of effort. let me know...I’ll do whatever you would like. you’re a talented photographer. I guess these days, we just take the “rights” of photographers for granted. that’s not fair. most of your pix (as I recall) have to do w/ triathlete events. I could send just those to you. let me know. damn! u were so nice to me and here I go giving your pix away. that really sucks! so twice in as many days I OWE you an apology.
