I meant to do a better job updating everyone on the AFL playoffs, but travel and writing got in my way a bit. The final teams have been chosen through the process of elimination in a heated contest. On Oct 1, Collingwood faces Geelong. I'll post an update on the match once it's available. Usually, after my Swans are eliminated I lose interest but this year is different. I like both teams going into the Grand Final. Many years in the past, I would go to the Australian Embassy in DC and watch the match as it was being played despite the time difference, but since I'm in NC and DC this year, I'll have to rely on the internet.
