Hi Guys, Can I interject in this exchange?
Rugby has always been a real man's sport..you have to be really tough to play the game (and I mean really tough)...in the American version..the padding saves you from any injury, and you keep having breaks after a couple of minutes play... In addition our friends the Americans have also taken 2 other games from us... the first being Basketball.. the second being Baseball. Here in England the guys play Football (soccer), Rugby and cricket.... The girls only, play Netball (Basketball) and Rounders (Baseball). I can only deduct from this that our American friends have taken all the girls games from us.... and re-named them.
