naw...I can take a little ribbing. in fact, I enjoy it. we ruggers all have a
streak of masochism in us.  the thing is...yesterday I stretched out an olive
branch and said something very nice about american “football.” I thought maybe
I’d get a little love in return. instead...it’s awfully cold in here.

have a great weekend everyone. go penn state! we really need a victory after
what we’ve been thru this week!

cheers!

Do you know the difference between a lawyer and a catfish?  One is a scum
sucking, slimy, bottom dweller, the other is a fish.

hey...grand wizard. SHHHHHHHH!!!!!  I was very careful not to specify which
rugby match vs. which football game. remember, I’m a lawyer. technically, what
I said was accurate...loosely. you’re allowing your prejudice for am. football
to show. don’t you have to go somewhere? hahahahaha! please allow me to
obfuscate if I want to. notice...until you said anything no one rebutted my
assertions. party pooper. hahahahaha!

Ah, young padowan.  I would contend that, outside of Worlds cup and other big
events, more people in the world see an individual American Football Game than
see an individual soccer or rugby match...

ha! don’t worry james...I won’t try to embroil you in my running argument w/
casey and jimbo about which football is superior. LOL. we don’t need to argue
about that any more. jimbo put an end to it when he quoted mark twain: “there
are lies, and there are damned lies and then there are statistics” [loose
translation from memory].

it’s a statistical fact. rugby is viewed by more people in the word than
american football.
c’est tout...c’est fini!

cheers!

It is a great group... love the pics, especially football, gymnastics, diving,
swimming and waterpolo, but all sports really. I have grown in appreciation for
rugby over the last while.... fascinating to watch

OK sportsfans, swimfans, dudes and dudettes,

there has been some discussion these days about what should be in this group,
what shouldn't be in this group, about whether the group is "uptight" or not???

As always, this group is about mens' sports, and the enjoyment of the male form
through great sports photography.     This includes not just photos of sporting
events, but also well put together models, who obviously excel in body
building, and who sometimes wear sports kit.

Obviously this will also sometimes include  photos which some of our members
will consider suggestive, and that's OK, even if it is not the raison d'etre of
our group.

Sometimes some of the banter around here becomes suggestive, and we can handle
that, but some of our members are macho types who do get uptight when obvious
'mo references are made.  So, try not to get too campy or suggestive.  I
realize some of you would find the subject of this email to be suggestive,
too.  hehe.  Not meant to be.

Basically, there is only one rule around here, besides being civil and polite,
occasionally showing a good sense of humor.  This only guiding and overarching
rule involves the photos themselves, and perhaps you can repeat it with me

No Frontal Nudity

That's right, say it again

No frontal nudity.

This means clearly no cock shots.

That's the one and only hard (not in a suggestive way) and fast rule  No cock
shots.

To quote Bill and Ted (hey dude, 69!)  Be excellent to one another.  Discuss
sports.  Post sports pics.  Post pics of the beautiful, manly male form.  Enjoy
yourselves, enjoy one another!

PS:  Your Wizard loves American Football, Water Polo, Swimming and Cycling.
Your wizard does not really care for golf or rugby, but loves to see discussion
about them on the group since these little factoids come in handy over the
water cooler.  Your Wizards loves Pavel Novotny and Kris Kayman, Alexander
Popov and Gary Hall, Tim Tebow and the Carlson Twins.  Just saying.  ;)  Enjoy
the pics.
