he should have retired earlier dave. he had very little “hands on” mgmt. of the team the last few years. the man could have earned a gazillion dollars as a coach of a major league team but he was devoted to his penn state boys. I have no direct knowledge either way but I’ll never believe he had anything to do w/ covering things up. if he’s guilty of anything, it was remaining as coach for too long. cheers!
