Many of you will be saddened to learn of the death of our online friend and
cyber pal Lee "Rugbysex" Barry.

He was a faithful, friendly, witty, and at times vapid, friend to me and to
many of you.  He loved sports,
especially Rugby, of which he was an avid player, and Water Polo.

For several years he has been dealing with one illness or another,
primarily caused by serious sports injuries, a tragic accident, and
pushing himself too much, but he still loved sports, and whenever he
could worked out or swam.

He loved poetry and the ocean beach.  He delighted in throwing out a
foreign word or turn of phrase.  He also loved to play music, being an
accomplished pianist and organist.  He dabbled in a serious career, but
for the most part spent his time in volunteer service, lending his
expertise to make the world a better place.  He was an advocate for the
mentally handicapped.

He was an ardent fan of our work here, and he loved the back and forth
which comes sometimes by posting.  He also loved humor and fell into
ribaldry quite often.  Earthy would describe him at best or worst.

His beloved parents preceded him in death, his one much older brother survives.
Our online world will remain a sadder place now that he is gone.

R.I.P.  dear friend.

As Always, Eric
