Known as the Total Africa Cup of Nations,Gabon 2017 (also referred to as AFCON 2017 or CAN 2017) isscheduled to take place in the cities of Gabon over the next month, with thechampionship final game to take place on February 5th. The 16 Qualifiers are classified in 4 groups,and are contesting for a spot in the finals playoff. The winner will qualify for the 2017 FIFAConfederations Cup, which will be held later this year in Russia.
