Labour Day, for non Americans and Canadians, is the last dayof Summer.  Even in
places where schoolstarts before the first Monday in September, today is
celebrated with cookouts, boating, visits to the pool, and in some places Labour
Day parades and parties.
Since there is an abundance of sports today, to celebrate theholiday, we
present this extraordinary guide to extraordinary sporting eventswhich can
inspire you today.

In NCAA Football, in the last game of the 10 day long openingweekend:  The
Volunteers of Tennessee(9-4 in 2016) take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
(also 9-4 in 2016) tonightat the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Both squads
replace three-yearstarting QBs and add Georgia transfers in UT corner Shaq
Wiggins and Tech RBJ.J. Green. This is the 44th meeting between the two teams,
who at one time hada strong rivalry, but they have not met for thirty years.
The Ramblin' Wrecks of Georgia Tech beat twoSEC teams to end last season
(Georgia and Kentucky).  Many commentators, especially those from theSouth and
from ESPN, consider the Southeast Conference as the strongest in thecountry,
but the record does not bear that out. Georgia Tech may prove that once again.

In International Soccer: Wembley Stadium unknowingly provides Labour Day
entertainment with aWorlds Cup qualifier this evening. England will take on
Slovakia on home turf, as it were, in mid afternoonstateside.  Friday, England
beat Malta4-0,  and with a win this evening theycould secure their place in
Russia next summer, as they currently sit atopGroup F, with Slovakia nipping at
their heals in second place. Slovakia managerJan Kozak magnanimously stated:
"This English side is very exciting, theyhave a great future ahead," Kozak
said. "There is a lot of talentthere and these players are being given
opportunities to get the experiencethey need."  Quite a nice changefrom the
usual trash talk.

In the USA, in PGA Golf, The Dell Technologies Championshipis a professional
golf tournament on the PGA Tour in the northeast UnitedStates, held annually in
late summer, over the Labor Day weekend.  The final round is being played today
at the Players Club of Boston in Norton,Massachusetts.  This year's purse
equals $8,750,000with the winner taking home $1,575,000. Current leaders are
Australian Marc Leishman and American Justin Thomasat 12 under par, England's
Paul Casey at 11 under par, and USA's Jordan Spieth andGrayson Murray, and
Canadian Adam Hadwin, all at 10 under par.   Withsuch top competition so close
on the closing day, today should provide plentyof suspenseful action.
