Rugby.  It is a sportthat is there, but one we here have lost track of,
unfortunately. Yesterdayafforded some exciting national play, with South Africa
pushing the NewZealand's all black through an exciting, and relatively low
scoring game.  The All Blacks finally pulled it out in theend, 25-24.  New
Zealand completed theirchampionship campaign unbeaten.  Today inFrench Top 14
Rugby, La Rochelle   takeson Racing 92 at the Stade Marcel Deflandre. In later
action, Toulouse will takeon Clermont Auvergne at the Stade Ernest Wallon.
Division playoffs have continued in the United States, inMajor League Baseball.
The ClevelandIndians have taken a 2- 0 lead over the New York Yankees in the
American LeagueDivision series. They won both of their games at home, and now
head to New Yorkin this best of five series.   In theNational League, the
Washington Nationals have evened their series 1-1 withChicago Cubs, with a win
at home.  Theywill head to historic Wrigley Field in Chicago as that best of
five seriescontinues.

The NFL Weekend began with an unexpected win by the NewEngland Patriots over
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, unexpected for some, thatis.  The Patriots survived
the challengesto win 19-14.  On today's menu othermatchups, the Seattle
Seahawks look to pull above the .500 mark and move intofirst place in the NFC
West with a win over the Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawkshave had trouble with
the Rams in recent games. Today, the Green Bay  Packers take on the Dallas
Cowboys, as theyrenew one of the league's most storied and historic rivalries.
The games arealways hard fought, and have deep roots in rivalries and mutual
players datingback to the earliest days of the NFL.  ThePackers defeated the
Cowboys in a memorable divisional playoff game lastseason.
