After months of little or no sports, today there is an explosion of live
sports!  Welcome back to insanity.

Don't miss the Kentucky Derby, the 146th running.  While the Sport of Kings has
had some black eyes in recent centuries, it is great to share in this historic
spectacles.  This year all attendance will be remote, with only the closest
cronies able to be present in person.  All others of us will be glued to our
own television sets, or to those of our bookies or off track betting parlours.
Fantastic.

The Kentucky Derby is normally the first of the Triple Crown of races, along
with the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes. This year it is the second leg of
the Triple Crown.  This year the Belmont Stakes were already run in June.
Belmont winner Tiz the Law, is heavily favored for this year's race, although
he has garnered a outside post position, from which it is hard to win...

College Football has resumed in the United States. Some conferences are playing
their normal schedules this year, many have cancelled.  A few teams, whose
conferences have cancelled, are playing on their own.  This should be a great
year for College Football.

UEFA Nations League play is being held this weekend.  This league was formed,
in part, to eliminate international friendlies. In it's first few years of
existence, it has had some influence already, and has gained some relevance in
both the European Championship and World Cup Qualifying standings.  Today
completes matchday one of six, tomorrow is begins matchday two of six.
Matchday three will come in October.

Aussie Rules Football Continues in a delayed fashion, this weekend contesting
weekend 16 of 23, and then the playoffs, which would normally be going on
during the month of September...  There won't be such a gap, this year, between
the end of AFL and the start of Cricket!

Don't forget the ongoing  National Hockey League (USA and Canada) Stanley Cup
Playoffs, which continue this weekend.
Who could forget the Labor Day Speedofest!  #LDSF

Shall I go on?

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend (USA and Canada) and your other end of Summer
celebrations!
