It has been a very strange baseball season in the United States of America
because COVID. We have been negligent in our updates, and that could be
#coronavirus, but more likely because 2020.

The World Series of Baseball, contested annually in the US and Canada among the
Major League Baseball teams, has reach a half way point, and continues tonight.

The Los Angeles Dodgers finished the regular season with far and away the best
record in baseball, at .717, they were the National League West Champs.  The
Tampa Bay Rays (weren't they called the Devil Rays once upon a time?) were the
American Leauge East champs, and had the best record in the American League at
.667. The teams with the best records don't always end up at the Series,
baseball is such a funny game.  This year, however, LA and TB took their
respective League Championships and have met for the series.

The series continues tonight for the fourth game.  LA leads the Rays 2 games to
1.  This means, of course, that it will be at least a five game series, with an
additional 2 more games possible in the best of seven series.

The games are being played, for the first time in many decades, at a neutral
location, that would be the new stadium at Arlington, Texas.  While the first
were played in the open air, the roof will be closed tonight, on account of the
cold.

The best of luck to those contesting this championship!  World Series...
without compare

As Always, Eric
