Greetings one-n-all,

My push of changes for

6712499 mpt should identify and report Dell SAS6/iR family of controllers

change mpt(7d) and raidctl(1m) message output on Dell systems
which have the SAS6/iR family of raid controllers installed.

To get the full effect of these changes your raidctl(1M)
mpt.so plugin should be in sync with your mpt(7d) driver.

As usual, bfu will do the right thing.

*** The mpt(7d) messaging changes mean that you will see, for instance,

Dell SAS 6/iR Integrated RAID Controller found.

rather than

Rev. 8 LSI, Inc. 1068E found.

in your msgbuf and /var/adm/messages file.

*** The output of "raidctl -S" will now show

0 "DELL_SASiR"
c0t0d0 2 0.9.0 0.1.0 0 OPTIMAL
0.1.0 GOOD
0.9.0 GOOD

rather than

2 "LSI_1068E"
0.0.0 GOOD
0.1.0 GOOD
0.2.0 GOOD
0.3.0 GOOD
3 "LSI_1068E"

The PCI Ids that will show this change are

0x1000 0x0058 0x1028 0x1F0E : SAS 6/iR Adapter RAID Controller
0x1000 0x0058 0x1028 0x1F0F : SAS 6/iR Integrated Blades RAID Controller
0x1000 0x0058 0x1028 0x1F10 : SAS 6/iR Integrated RAID Controller
0x1000 0x0058 0x1028 0x021D : SAS 6/iR Integrated Workstations RAID Controller
