I sent this to tools-discuss but didn't get any response. I'm hoping to have better luck here:
The opensolaris.org community docs, (http://opensolaris.org/os/community/on/devref_toc/devref_5/), indicate that I should be able to test kernals by doing a quick cap-eye install then issue a command like this: # reboot -- 'kernel.foo/unix' Should that still work? It doesn't for me in recent builds. The only way I've found to boot the temporary kernals is to manually update the grub entries. Naturally this is a pain for headless dev machines. thanks. donour
