For the initial ksh93-integration putback and update1 we made binary
tarballs to help people doing a quick&&painless migration for build
machines... I am scratching my head a bit why the same wasn't done for
OS/Net's Studio 11 to Studio 12 migration ([1])... ;-/

[1]=Well, I can guess: The official way of patching the compiler product
is "cleaner" than giving plain tarballs to "customers" (and allows
various ways to track issues quickly via the package system (such as
customer support asking whether a customer has applied patch 123459-666
or 123459-667)).
