With the putback of: 6933462 onu should support zones
the onu(1) script will update any ipkg-brand zones installed on your systems. Thus, any onu updates across incompatible user/kernel changes will no longer break zones. It continues to be the case, however, that use of onu(1) will prevent use of zone update-on-attach for such zones. In addition, use of the -d option will prevent zone installs in the new BE. To re-enable zone installs, the temporary publishers left in place (see pkg publisher) must be replaced by hand with suitable repos that will install the correct set of packages into the zone. You should only need to do this if you want to test zone installs in your development BE. regards, john
