I happen to know that SUNWsmbfs (now system/filesystem-smb)
requires SUNWuiui (now system/library/iconv/utf-8)
because it calls iconv_open("UTF-8", "UCS-2"), etc.
This dependency was previously expressed correctly in:
usr/src/pkgdefs/SUNWsmbfsu/depend
I don't see it anywhere in here:
usr/src/pkg/manifests/system-file-system-smb.mf
I don't think pkgdepend(1) can detect this, so I guess
I'll need to add a line to the ...smb.mf file, right?
Which bugster cat/subcat is appropriate for this?
Were all explicit dependencies like this dropped
during the IPS cut-over? If so, there may be
more cases like this.
