Hi, What are the secrets/requirements to using onu? I did an AI install of 134b and tried to use onu with one of my packages based on nv_143 but onu said that there are no updated available for this image.
I rebooted my system and then tried 'onu -r -d' followed by 'onu -t' It worked but I ended up with an old image dated 2010-03-19. I have no idea where that came from. See below for info, and let me know what else you need to help me figure this out. Thanks in advance. -Jason > > OS: AI install with 134b > > #/ws/onnv-tools/onbld/bin/onu -t sriov -d > /ws/spsw-io/gates/sriov-int1-gate/packages/sparc/nightly-nd > > Did not find an image to update. > So I rebooted to activate the sriov BE. > And then I got onu to update when I did this (but did not get desired > results): > > #/ws/onnv-tools/onbld/bin/onu -r -d > /ws/spsw-io/gates/sriov-int1-gate/packages/sparc/nightly-nd > # pkg publisher > PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI > on-nightly (preferred) origin online > http://localhost:13000/ > opensolaris.org (non-sticky) origin online > http://ipkg.sfbay/release/ > on-extra origin online > http://localhost:13001/ > # > #/ws/onnv-tools/onbld/bin/onu -t newbe > # reboot > > But this is what I end up with: > SunOS Release 5.11 Version onnv-gate:2010-03-19 64-bit > > ????? > I don't even know where that came from, especially since its so old. > > My publishers look like this after the reboot: > r...@dt212-322:~# pkg publisher > PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI > on-nightly (preferred) origin online > http://ipkg.sfbay/on-nightly/ > opensolaris.org (non-sticky) origin online > http://ipkg.sfbay/release/ > on-extra origin online > http://ipkg.sfbay/on-extra/ > # > > > Back to the drawing board... > perhaps someone else can try the 'onu -r -d' method and see what results they > get > > > -Jason > >> >>> I'm trying to use onu for the first time and it doesn't seem to be working, >>> it >>> complains that there is nothing to update.
