Release 1 official is supported on Rackspace. Between the lines, I would say use the api versions that are in Rackspace for compatibility. Ie Rackspace uses v2 compute, so stick with versions that use that.

We progressed up to the point where the VMs are spun up, but unfortunately they do not pick up the public IP addresses. We assumed that this is due to not having configured an floating ip pool, but the client responded ""Floating ip pool operations are only available for Compute v2 network"".
