Hello Vikram,

Robot, MSO and SDC VMs all require Ubuntu 16.04. The Ubuntu image I?m using is
this one, from the Ubuntu repository:
https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/xenial/current/xenial-server-cloudimg-amd64-disk1.img

Note that the network interface in this image is called esn3; however, it gets
renamed to eth0 in the heat template. I?m also using OpenStack Mitaka and I?m
not facing issues.

Try to look at the full logs of those three VMs to see if they tell you
something. Also, make sure you have enough floating IPs available for building
the ONAP stack. Even if OpenStack VMs appear to have floating IP assigned, in
reality some VM may still be unreachable because the floating IP is already in
use.

Thanks,
Marco

Subject: [onap-discuss] Unable to reach vm with ubuntu16.04

Hello all,

I deployed heat stack on OpenStack Mitaka,
After deployment I am unable to reach the VMs (vm-robot, vm-mso, vm-sdc ) for
which the OS is Ubuntu 16.04.
I see there are some other people facing the same issue.
Can anyone suggest what exact version of ubutnu16.04 need to be used for these
three VMs.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Vikram
