Most of that seems to be control loop related.
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Control+Loop+Design has some details. But the
idea is make a micro service with your algorithms and plug it in as a component
of DCAE

Hello all,

Thank you for the answers.

Roger, I'm not sure about which parts of the algorithms do you need a
description.

I'm from the R&D Department from a Portuguese company, and we have being
developed a set of algorithms in terms of telecommunication networks monitoring
(for 2G, 3G and 4G technologies).

All of them aim to solve specific problems that happen in these networks. One
example is a crossed sectors detection algorithm. They were developed in C#,
following many programming practices and methodologies like Extreme Programming
(TDD, Code Review..) and SOLID Principle. So, most of the code is modular, with
responsibilities separation between modules, what makes modifications and
features addition easier.

The objective is to evaluate the possibility of integrate these algorithms in
the ONAP platform. As you said, the platform is really vast and a little
complex and that's why I'm asking for help, at least with the first steps ;)

Best regards,
Ruben Borralho

Without knowing exactly what you mean Roger is correct. However the rough

Hi Rúben,

ONAP is a vast open-source project so you’ll need to briefly describe your
algorithms so that the community can help determine where they fit.

Cheers,
Roger Maitland

Subject: [onap-discuss] ONAP Algorithms Integration

Hello,

I'm Rúben Borralho, from Portugal, and I've been studying ONAP platform in the
last few days.

I have already studied some points of ONAP wiki. My objective here, is to
understand how can I integrate in the platform, algorithms that I have
developed in C#.

Does this situation belong to "Integration with ONAP" or "Developing ONAP"
point?

Maybe you can indicate me the best steps to understand if such integration is
possible.

Best regards,
Rúben Borralho
