With regards to Cloudify, it should be noted that an automated, multi-cloud deployment with auto-scaling and self healing already exists. Having said that, Cloudify uses a plugin based approach as opposed to least common denominator approach. As part of the SO project, an ONAP specific multi-VIM plugin for Cloudify is being used. Currently, it (like multi-VIM itself) is simply a repackaged Openstack plugin. However, the intent is that it tracks changes in Multi-VIM as it evolves. The advantages of Cloudify in OOM is the declarative TOSCA approach, active infrastructure creation, healing and scaling, and automated Kubernetes installation ( including on auto-healed infrastructure nodes). It can also install and (auto)scale Kubernetes on bare metal.
