Thanks Michael and Renana,

Our current roadmap plans to bring in ingestion of TOSCA models for Beijing, so
it sounds like from what you have said this does not need to be pushed forward
into Amsterdam, since the generated models will still be available.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Regards,
Tian

For R1 the sdc code is aligned with the 1710 internal release.
Which as far as I know is still using the artifact generator and we are
distributing the artifacts.

release

Hi,

Adding Michael Lando (ONAP SDC) & Andrew Baxter (AAI) to keep me honest.

The AAI Model XML are still being generated and distributed. However, new
features will not be supported (PNF info, new fields etc.).
The VNF Catalog artifact is not generated by SDC (never was), but uploaded by
user. This functionality should still exist and the artifact will be
distributed.

However, as SDC plans to stop generating the AAI Model XML - I suggest to start
the required steps in ONAP AAI for parsing and translating the TOSCA model.

Regards,
Renana

Subject: [onap-discuss] [aai] [sdc] AAI Model XML distribution in Amsterdam
release

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone from SDC could answer my question.

Currently SDC still distributes all of the following:

*         TOSCA (as a CSAR)

*         AAI Model XML

*         VNFCatalog

I know there are plans to turn off the distribution of the AAI Model XML and
the VNFCatalog.

My question is, is this planned for the Amsterdam release or a later release?
If it is planned for Amsterdam then we have to make provisions in ONAP AAI
project to translate the TOSCA on AAI's side.

Please feel free to forward this question to the appropriate audience if
necessary.

Thanks,
