Team,

Tomorrow’s meeting is cancelled due to travel/holidays/face-to-face modeling
meeting. I’ll provide status via email in lieu of a meeting.

  1. We passed our M4 review. Great job team! Special thanks to all of you
putting in long hours and submitting updates this week. It is much appreciated.
  2. Special thanks to Kailun who started work on function tests last week and
submitted a large update in time for the code freeze (and passed the code
coverage requirement). Great work!
  3. The LFN Board approved creation of the LFN Compliance Verification
Committee (CVP) to offer cross-project compliance/verification tests. This
opens the door to use vnfsdk for verification testing after the Casablanca
release.
  4. The TSC discussed the focus for the Casablanca release today:
Deployability. One of the top priorities for the release is VNF
packaging/onboarding, so we will have increased importance in the next release.
We’ll be responsible for aligning with the VNF requirements, integrating the
ice tools with the marketplace, increased integration with SDC, and perhaps
increased integration with OPNFV functional tests. By the end of Casablanca,
we should be able to use VNFSDK in the OVP program (or whatever it’s called) to
offer Verified logos to compliant VNFs.
  5. I spoke with AT&T about increased integration with SDC in the next
release. We may want to consider making our marketplace/refrepo more modular
so SDC can use it as a test framework for their vendor engagement testing (and
not using our marketplace portal). Let’s think about this some more as we get
ready for Casablanca.
  6. Several people approached me about hosting VNFSDK, or offering a
third-party marketplace. We may get some more people joining our calls in the
next few weeks.
  7. Next week, we need to work with SDC on pairwise testing.

Great job team!

Thanks,
Chris
