Is this behavior primarily characteristic of Kafka? I can subscribe to a topic with this REST call: GET http(s)://{HOST:PORT}}/events/{topicname}/{consumegroup}/{consumerid}/{timeout=x}. Once the client gets a response with messages, they issue another REST call to wait for more. At the same time there is another client also issuing calls. Naturally, they are not issuing calls at the exact same time. Based on what I am seeing in my terminal, they may not both receive some messages if the other one has not received it, even if they use different consumer groups. Is there something I am not understanding in this ? Thanks, William -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
