I found the cause and the solution as well. The reason of failure was I was giving floating IPs as arguments while executing scripts in both NFS Master as well as Slave. When using the IPs from 'ifconfig' command output the NFS mount worked fine. Unless I missed something in the documentation, it's not clearly mentioned to use the IP from 'ifconfig' command output. In case this holds true for other setups as well, I would like to suggest to update the documentation mentioning this explicitly.
