Hi AAI people,

Regarding the "Tutorial: Making and Testing a Schema Change in A&AI"
https://wiki.onap.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=10783023
And the "AAI Roadmap 2018-01-05.pdf" attached to
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/AAI+R3+M1+Release+Planning:

Is the "Graph Schema Changes" section of the roadmap intended to obviate the
need for the code generation steps in the tutorial (i.e. "mvn clean install -o"
in aai-common, resources and traversal components and running GenTester), e.g.
by making the code more dynamic?

Or is it intended to provide some kind of automation that hides the manual code
gen steps from the user?

Does AAI support multiple versions of the schema concurrently? Do the
components accessing AAI data (such as DCAE) support multiple versions of the
schema as well?

Or does the schema v(n) simply include all of schema v(n-1) in a
backwards-compatible way such that both versions are accessible concurrently?

Is it possible to concurrently run multiple instances of AAI, e.g. one with
schema v(n) and another with schema v(n-1)?
Is it possible for API queries to be automatically directed towards different
instances of AAI, e.g. based on the schema version requested?

Are there any restrictions on the kinds of schema changes allowed from one
version to the next, e.g. only add attributes, never rename/remove attributes?

Thanks,
Keong
