Hi Sudhakar, The prefix – “DCAE.Config_” is used in Policy Handler to filter the policies applicable for DCAE components. This is set as configuration into policy-handler during startup and expectation for policies created (from clamp/policy) are to set under same prefix (for policies being defined for DCAE services).
Alex S has put-together nice flow around policy handler and interfaces here - https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/DCAE+gen2+R2+architecture+of+policy-handling+by+DCAE-controller. Hope this helps. I run the push-polices.sh from policy container. I can see the policies from UI. All the policies are available under “com” package. [cid:[email protected]] Whereas from the logs of DCAE policy handler, I can see that it is looking for the policies starting with the name: “DCAE.Config_” and showing the error as below: 2018-07-13T05:29:57,239+00:00|1a5b8340-0c9b-401e-8080-66e022532965|policy_updater|policy_handler||policy_engine|http://pdp.onap:8081/pdp/api/getConfig|ERROR|300|data error|failed: not found response from PDP to post http://pdp.onap:8081/pdp/api/getConfig<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__pdp.onap-3A8081_pdp_api_getConfig&d=DwQGaQ&c=LFYZ-o9_HUMeMTSQicvjIg&r=6WYcUG7NY-ZxfqWx5MmzVQ&m=wjmfIV7DajWuM2bouxnsJ2ETNJSYAtZCNJEcxDzf-6U&s=HzgsTrjqFyAtVvMp6B0rp8H8c-r3AmrVS2z9AY5o9Z0&e=>: 400 msg={"policyName": "DCAE.Config_.*"} text=[{"policyConfigMessage":"PE300 - Data Issue: Incorrect Params passed: Decision not a Permit.","policyConfigStatus":"CONFIG_NOT_FOUND","type":null,"config":null,"policyName":null,"policyType":null,"policyVersion":null,"matchingConditions":null,"responseAttributes":null,"property":null}] headers={"Content-Length": "32", "Accept-Encoding": "gzip, deflate", "ClientAuth": "*", "Accept": "application/json", "User-Agent": "python-requests/2.18.4", "Environment": "TEST", "Connection": "keep-alive", "Content-Type": "application/json", "X-ECOMP-RequestID": "1a5b8340-0c9b-401e-8080-66e022532965", "Authorization": "*"} Is this error a blocker to run closed loop use cases? Are there any specific policies that are supposed to be used by DCAE other than the ones that are pushed? I guess the policies which are under “com” package should also be sent to DCAE. Please help me understand. Thanks & Regards Sudhakar Reddy Contact No:8758383421 “Amdocs’ email platform is based on a third-party, worldwide, cloud-based system.
