Hello,

Agenda proposal for today Control-Loop subcommittee meeting:
Discuss the following points:

  1. Policy Creation

  * Why is there a need for SDC to create Config and Operational policies?
SDC can distribute Service specific or generic templates that include TOSCA
policy models with default values.
[Martial takes]: because of the difficulty for the Policy team to maintain the
Api exposed, Policy team to give more detail on this
  * A CLAMP user creates a CL instance of the template, configures (dialogs
based on TOSCA models) and creates the policies. CLAMP automatically fills in
items like the control loop name/ID.
  * Doing a swivel chair approach from CLAMP to Policy UI or cut and paste of
CL name/id does not seem user friendly and is error prone.
[Martial takes]:it would depend on the technology used to do that swivel chair
approach, policy/sdc team to give more info on this

  1. Blueprints and deployment
     * Dedicated (CL instance specific) vs Shared instances of microservices
     * Shared instances are up and running and do not need to be deployed via
CLAMP. Policies created will immediately be applied to the running mS.
     * Is there data to distinguish between dedicated and shared instances
that could be used by CLAMP?
     * Will DCAE-C handle scaling (spinning up new instances of
microservices) and is it transparent to policies created (names used, etc.)?
     * How does CLAMP know which Policy ID/filter applies to a given
microservice (from the blueprint or user)?
